NH vs Dorking 25th May 2009
25th May 2009

A dry Bank Holiday in May? Well let's play cricket!! A mixed NH side entertained Dorking in a 40 over contest - a bit one sided, but hey everyone got a game including yours truly who donned the whites for the first time since 2007; took a wicket (should have been 2 - thanks Morgs!) and was last man out or as the match report put it, the tail that failed to wag - it was raining, I wear glasses, no point in hanging around!

I mentioned the coaching manual earlier - kids, this is not how to play a push to off - I was seriously considering superimposing a bus passing between bat and pads. Oh, nets are Wednesday nights by the way.
